Med Aesthetics Miami’s team of skilled and experienced professionals are dedicated to delivering the latest aesthetic treatments. We understand that every individual is unique and therefore offer a diverse range of services tailored to meet our clients’ specific needs, from injectables to laser services, from body contouring to skin rejuvenation, among others.

The team at Med Aesthetics Miami is a high caliber team with all the certifications required by the Department of Health. Combined they have many years of experience. Med Aesthetics Miami follows its own proprietary method “Skin and Beyond” across the board, and makes sure all members are up to date in its guidelines.

The team is led by Rosanna Bermejo, MBA MSN, Nurse Practitioner, and founder and President of Med Aesthetics Miami. She brings over fifteen years of experience and is dedicated to the selection of the latest trends in research and innovation. Our board-certified medical directors, Dr. Alejandro Espaillat and Dr. Carlos Riveros, bring a wealth of experience and expertise to our practice. Med Aesthetics Miami certified aestheticians and technicians are committed to providing personalized and effective treatments to help you achieve our clients’ aesthetic goals.

Rosanna Bermejo, MBA MSN

Founder and President

As company founder, Rosanna is in charge of bringing in the latest in technology and research, as well as treatments.

Rosanna graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Economics and continued on to obtain her MBA at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. After many years learning about the logistics of business in Fortune 500 Companies, Rosanna decided that she preferred to bring out her passion to the world and put all those years of corporate experience together into her own business. Her desire was to help people feel better in their own skin with aesthetic procedures that start inside.

She initially started working in a medical office and continued on to pursue additional licenses and certifications in skin care, laser hair removal, body wrapping, and more. Subsequently, she obtained a Registered Nursing Degree (RN), BSN, and received her Master’s in Nursing (MSN in Family Nurse Practitioner) in the summer of 2023.

Med Aesthetics Miami has expanded to a boutique center with locations in Coral Gables, Aventura, and Lauderdale-By-The-Sea. Our customers come from many corners of Florida, and other states. We take pride in the quality of the services offered and in our desire to go the extra mile to achieve our clients’ goals. Our team provides only the best and is well-suited to provide our services.

Dr. Alejandro Espaillat, M.D.

Laser Aesthetic Surgeon & Eye Physician

Dr. Alejandro Espaillat is a Florida-licensed eye physician and surgeon trained at Harvard and Brown Universities.

Dr. Espaillat is a Diplomate in Aesthetic Medicine, as well as board certified from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, and the American Board of Laser Surgery. He is an active surgeon who has performed thousands of successful ophthalmic and aesthetic surgical procedures. including neurotoxins, fillers, advanced chemical peels, plasma-rich platelets, and stem cells injections.

Dr. Espaillat has been a member in good standing of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery; as well as participated in the research and co-authorship of many published medical reports.

Dr. Carlos Riveros, M.D.

Medical Director

Dr. Riveros is board certified in Internal Medicine.

He is a former Attending/Preceptor for the Internal Medicine residency programs at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Larkin Hospital and the FIU Foreign Medical Program. He is a Member of the Medical Committee at Coral Gables Hospital.

Dr. Riveros graduated from the Nueva Granada Military University in Bogota. Colombia, and completed Internal Medicine residency programs in Cartagena, Colombia, and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania (USA).
