Harmful Effects of the Sun
How do we protect ourselves from the harmful effects of the sun?
No method will grant 100% protection.
1) Physical blockers (e.g., zinc ozide, titanium dioxide).
2) Chemical blockers.
New version of physical blockers that have been modified to not result in the ugly white rub could potentially result in free radicals, but because these do not penetrate deeply in the skin, are considered safe.
Chemical blockers can result in chemical reactions that produce free radicals. By adding topical and systemic antioxidants, we can help prevent skin sagging.
